The stay at home orders for Toronto, Peel, and North Bay-Parry Sound have been extended until March 8th.
This means that commercial construction in those areas will not start on February 22nd as anticipated. Mayor Tory and health officials have been applying heavy, public pressure on the Ontario government to change course from the planned reopening date on February 22nd.
York Public Health region will transition out of the shutdown and into the revised COVID-19 Response Framework: Keeping Ontario Safe and Open at the Red-Control level beginning Monday, February 22nd at 12:01 a.m.
